I have lived in northwest Iowa for most of my life, except for 3 years when we lived in Brandon, SD).Darwin and I raised three children, 2 of which are still with us. We have a daughter, Jessica (married to Jason with their exceptional daughter, Annika) and son, Lew (father of the very amazing children, Andi and Levi). Our daughter Joslin died at the age of 20 after suffering from bone cancer for two years. We live at Okoboji now, and enjoy retirement, having done many things in life. UPDATE 2026: Darwin died from cancer in 2024, and I still live at the lake, finding my way as a single. Grief is different for each loss, which I have found is true, as I navigate each day.
